looking at the curve across the tread of your rear tyres butch 2485 (dominators ?) i would say you either have them over inflated or have the wrong size on your rims? Dominators sit flat across the tread ????

this is how gary had it when he bought it last year
i`ve got the same wheels & tyres as graham apart from my wheels are the other way round

i`ll look in to it too make sure they are correct

also i`ve 5psi in all tyres

maybe because it has IRS

I would`nt worry too much Sean, mine look like that and have 6 PSI in them, i have done over 2000 miles on them with no problems so far, i suspect they will be replaced before any problems arise .

If they aint sitting on the road properly then they will prematurely wear out through the centre. Its very common for slashers to have a curve even though they are advertised as having a "flat footprint"

What sort of mileage would you expect out of a set a rear tyres secret, mine have plenty of wear left after 2000 miles .

How long a tyre lasts may depend on how you ride. If you ride like a pussy then i would imagine many miles before worn ?
r7atv rode 3k miles on slashers and they still looked like new when he got back.
I have scraped 3k out of slashers (right down to practically zero tread)
Dominators seem to be 2.5 to 3 k. Dominators dont have the sideways traction of slashers, ie when traversing a slope.
Going to try maxxis razr2 next. they have awesome tread and sit so beautifull on the road. Will see how long they last.

Thats about right then, mine will be 2.5 to 3K - i suppose it also depends on the road/off road use ratio .
