I would go again but not the way we did it before, a better method of transportation would be sought .
It took more effort getting the quads in and out of the lorry than it did ridng the bloody things lol .
Would definitely go again now I know the areas to avoid riding in .

I stand corrected then...:faint:
Next time you might want to hire a 7.5t dropside insted of the box you hired. With a drop side you can ride each quad straight up a ramp onto the deck along the side of the vehicle, move the ramp along and do it again. No lifting them about...;)

That would be better Rob, problem is the only local hire company that was reasonably priced only had the van we used and that was £240 for the weekend .
I think we are going to the Isle of Wight this year for a weekends riding, not as exciting as Toms Farm but its still a good weekend when loads of quadders get together .

Looks like a nice place .....I guess vey different in the dry weather than in the winter when some of yo wenat last time.
I thought isle of Wight trip had been scrapped as trails were poor after the scouting expedition ?
I'm up for chipping into a share of the cost for a decent lorry to transport several of us...

Secret, I would prefer to do it again on a bike as more of the land is accessible that way, there were large areas of what looked like brilliant riding that mine and warriors Preds could not get to because of the terrain, ie, canyon like ruts and swamps/crevices etc .
Up on the hilltop trails the sports quads were great .

It is £10 for the days riding - one of the cheapest places you will find (places you have to pay at).
its about 5 mins from here

I will only be going on the Sunday of that weekend, three to four days there is too much. It deffo ranks among the top places to ride your Quad for me but then I ride a full on 4x4

Its a very different place in the wet Upperdean than the dry, the dry is much more suited to sports Quads as they can get round alot more of the site. the wet is more suited to the big 4x4 as it gets very wet and muddy in places.
You need a 4x4 just to get up the access road lol
