We have quite a lot of events and rides we would like to do next year - all good fun.
What we need though is a few people who are willing take some 'ownership' and responsibility for helping to organise. This will help spread the burden and make things more fun for everyone.
We appreciate that not everyone will have the time or feel comfortable in taking on any responsibility, and the amout of involvment would be variable.
If your willing and able to help please send me/rp a pm or post here.
Cheers
Danny

I'm happy (and would actually enjoy) to play a part in the Spanish trip organisation. But I suspect that will need a couple of us at least to organise that beast of a trip.
I dont feel ready yet to start organising or leading any ride events as i'm new to this. As 2008 progresses, maybe i'll be more comfortable and fancy a go. I am getting the memory map software and the RA 7000 so that should help.

I just thought Danny was going to give up riding, sell the Quad and become full time BHQT events co-ordinator, shed at the end of the garden, little desk and heater.....:clapping:

This kind of trip needs allot of planning to get it right. It seems easy but I have done trips abroad on the motorbike and experienced the pitfalls of little or poor planning. The boys that did Madrid from QuadsUK would be a good source for tips.

I'm happy to organize a trip to the IOW and let everyone know details of the trip including cost/sail times of ferries and maybe make it a weekend trip with a camping/mini beer fest??
I shall be going over to the IOW in the future to have a scout round to see if all the byways are open and see what deals can be got for the ferry crossings, if any one wants to join me for the scout round the Island PM me.
