Well first service done whilst I waited yesterday, all the checks, engine & gearbox oil, took about 3 hours in total, but that included fitting the box and the rear skid plate, so probably just under 2 hours for the service, cost was £150 as promised unlike car servicing where they tend to quote you a price plus parts. The service book seems to indicate 25 and 50 hour intervals, the dealer surprisingly said clean the air filter yourself and bring it to us at least once a year for a proper service, was expecting to fiercely defend the need to bring it to him after every 25-50 hours!

dont know how you would stand with the warranty, sure someone will chip in, also think of the re-sell value, if i was buying a nearly new used one i would expect the service book to be up to date:rules:

As the law stands any VAT registered company can carry out the service and your Warranty will be valid.
However as Nelly says always best to get done by a can am dealer for the sake of a few quid.
The problem for us southern can amers, no Main dealer close by :frusty:

yeah the closest one to me for quads seemed to be in Sussex, where my buddy gets his grizzly serviced (although he lives very close to it) as you know I did seriously consider buying a new raptor, when I went into the main Yamaha dealer right near me he didn't even know what a raptor was!
Still I am looking to buy one of those lovely matching blue Yam paddock fleeces, just cant find one in XXXXL
