Sorry ...cant do Dec 8th as it Reading v Liverpool and i'm a season ticket holder and cant miss that one. I could make Sunday 9th.

RP, I would love to go out on any shorter rides you can make over the next few weeks once my quad is repaired.

This is the next date I can do a decent ride .
Who is going to organise it, I think I have done enough leading for a while and want to enjoy the ride more .

RP, or anybody else, if you are up for any rides (short or long) on either of the next two Sundays let me know. Currently the plan is that I collect my repaired bike from Steve Berry this wekend. I'll then be wanting to do something with it.

Only thing is I cant do any leading as i'm still a virgin at this stuff and havent got a clue where to go yet!

Leading is no fun. Being at the rear is more of a laugh as you then get to see all the mishaps that occur in front of you like crashing into a hedge and wearing a quad etc...;)

the only time i have not led was when danny took the reins (and of course secret solo), trouble is i kept getting too close to him because i dont catch butterflies on the way round the route LOL .

December 8th is my next available days ride date, I think we should all dress up in some of those cheap santa suits for the ride, it would make for some good festive photos for the site home page .

So far we have Danny and myself on this date, Danny can only do 4 or 5 hours so it will have to be a shortish route (we are so good at short routes lol) .
It would be good to go somewhere different for a change so Danny and I propose the South Reading route, any Reading based members would find this route appealing as no travel to get to the start so come on guys, no excuses, not even the weather !
I am going to wear a santa suit to get in the festive spirit and help to get some good photos for the home page, would be good if we could all wear santa suits  .

The meet up locations could be as follows,

Morrisons petrol station Basingstoke for the southern group

The Falcon petrol station in Tadley for Danny, then onto the Devils Highway to start the route

Any Reading based riders could meet at Spencers Wood, I think there is a petrol station there, please confirm .

Ill post some details of the route as soon as i can.

This will be a easy route with well defined and establihed trials.
Quite a bit of country road riding as well. I have done part of this route before and found it fun but not really challenging.

Great for those who dont want to get their bikes TOO dirty .
