I know i've seen some comments somewhere on this site, but I can't find them when I need them!
What tyre pressures do you guys recommend, and do you keep same for both on-road and off-road. Same front and back also ?

Kind of depends what suits your style of riding and quad, but i use 5 PSI all round. Maybe 6 at the back if im going to ride a lot of road.

I use 5 PSI all round and it handles sweet on the road still .

I bought a digital tyre pressure guage today from Halfords. All their guages start at 5 PSI and go upto 50 or 99 dependant on model ... ....which made me realise basically there is no air in these tyres ...no wonder when I pushed the quad when I broke down the other day the tyres creaked on the tarmac when I turned it!
What is the effect of going much higher than 5 or 6 PSI.... does it help road driving but muck up off-road ?

you should get a low pressure tyre gauge in the quads toolkit .
5 to 6 psi should be right for all rides in our area, because of the large volume of air in the tyres you dont need much pressure, any less and it will feel squishy (?) on road and more will make it seem skittish (?), i hope you like the adjectives , i could not think of any better ones LOL .
5 to 6 is the best for my quad and a lot of other riders .

Got the missing toolkit from the dealer today today. It's vety small and no low pressure tyre guage included.
Anyhow, i think i've found a good one Draper make that goes up from 2 PSI so I may get a refund at Halfords and get the Draper one. You can pick it up on various websites for about £10.
