Hello Nigel

First of all, if you have enough money then go for a bigger quad, something like a 500cc, QZ`s are good but I wish I had gone on to a bigger quad to start on, would have saved the depreciation loss on my old XLC 300 .
You can get a new Polaris Outlaw or Predator 500cc for £5000 on the road, fully homologated road legal .
If money does not run to this then a QZ will be fine, there is a QZ dealer in Froyle near Alton, I dont think there are any others within 30 to 40 miles of you, the warranty only runs for 6 months anyway .
The QZ XLC300 is a good quad and better than the 250 as it is wider and generally a bit bigger for better handling and comfort .

Try this to locate a dealer

I have phoned the place in Froyle and they are very helpful.

I think I'll go for a quadzilla first as I want to be certain I like quadding (if thats what you call it) before I splash out a lot.

I really prefer the look of the utility bikes so may go for a 4x4 like the 300e or 320e - not so fast I know but more my kind of thing - what do you reckon?

I see you are meeting on Sunday at Morrisons near Basingstoke at 10. Where exactly is that, I may come along just to meet up.

Mark and Kay at Froyle are nice people, I bought my QZ from there .
We meet at the petrol station at Morrisons supermarket (used to be Safeway) by the leisure park in Basingstoke .
It would be good to meet you but it seems a long way to go for you just to say hello, would be better to meet us on your brand new quad for its christening , up to you .
There was a review of the QZ 320 in quad mag and they thought it was good .

I couldn't agree more with RP ( thats make a change) If you think that quading is the thing for you get something with a bigger engine it's a must for the roads. I have not met any Quadzilla dealer that has not over exaggerated the top speed of their quads. If you can afford a bigger quad, my advice would be to go for it.

Try em before you by em, its the only way to get a clear comparision between models, gearing, chassis size, etc. You wouldn't buy a car before you try it, why should a quad be any different?

You are right Dquads, trouble is that there are not many local dealers , let alone ones that can give test rides, suppose I wanted to buy a Raptor, where would I test one ?
