Hi,

Anybody know how to get the Polaris spedo do show and record MPH rather than KPH ?

Unfortunately i've tried various tests and so far managed to set the total mileage to date bact to 0000 after just having done a 14k run on the new bike...but its still in KPH.

Hi,

Just bveen told by Polaris that it will need swapping out under warranty and there is no way to change some of them (looks like mine is one of them !).

I've spoken to my local dealer and they will arrange to order a new one when I take it in for my first service. Oh well ..warranty claim on day 1 of ownership.

Thanks,

I spoke to Steve today. I've booked the bike in for it 100 mile service on Firday ready for our weekend ride. He will order me a replacement on Friday when he is doing the service and fit it under warranty when it comes in.

They need changing as they would never pass a MOT with a Speedo that didnt indicate MPH.

This seems to happen quite frequently with Polaris bike. Happened to me too. It comes from the fact that we are the only ones in europe who require MPH, so when a bike to transfered between international dealerships the speedo change gets forggtten. My bike was originally destined for France and got swaped between dealers.

I guess I'm a lucky bugger because on the Renegade you can swop between MPH and KMH so if the quad came from Europe the speedo can be changed to good old MPH.
