This years weekend at Toms Farm was overall, a good time, but-it was a lot of hard graft and expense .
How about doing a weekend quad touring with a combination of road and byways riding, we could do it when the weather is good .
We could plan the trip to take a circular route maybe camping overnight on the on the way round .
How about the south downs or dorset areas, obviously a great deal of planning needs to be done for a trip like this but if we start early enough then it should be good .
Memory map will be essential to plan this along with local authority details of TRO`s etc .

Lets have some ideas to get the ball rolling .

* How about Sussex or Dorset, some nice places and the coast, Isle of Wight has been suggested but I am not sure whether it is too small to spend a weekend riding round ?
* Camping would be good for quad security because we would have night watchmen (the guys who cant sleep because of the snoring LOL)

Just looked at the Isle of Wight on memory map and there are quite a few byways there, might make a good weekend providing they are all ok to ride with no TRO`s .

Just got back from a weekend of quad biking in Wales with Lee at TQRE. Has to be the best quad bike experience I've ever had. Two full days of byways around the mountains of north Wales. There were 6 quads and 2 motorbikes, 4 can am outlanders and 2 polaris scramblers - the polaris ended up with a broken frame! Saturday did about 90 miles in about 8 hours, the last 2 in the dark and Sunday did about 50 miles, this was cut slightly short due to the broken frame. Cost is £200 which includes 3 meels and 2 nights accommodation, not cheap but for the experience is worth every penny.

Sounds like a great time Trevor, we had a good time at Toms Farm but it was not totally suitable for our sports quads, more a 4x4 place hence the desire to try somewhere else with byways and no mountains LOL
The isle of wight would be nice
