Took a test drive on Friday Sportsman X2 500 at LJ Cannings Wantage.
They had a full road legal version there and an off road only version as well as a few trail boss, Hawkeye and some kids quads.
A chap I met on the Polaris stand at Weston put me in touch with them as they are so local to me.

Cannings Tel: 01235 763103 are an agricultural machine specialist, who sells / services Polaris. They seem up to speed and run a full spares /service back up as well.
Dave who handles the quad side is knowledgable, helpful and friendly, and he has actually recently come back from a trip to the Polaris factory in the states.
They even delivered it up to my home so we could check it would fit into its proposed storage /garage and give it some more testing around the lanes at home etc!

Wow what a machine!!!
Looks like I may just have to order one shortly after I have modified the storage situation unfortunately.
Any one used this dealer before?????

No, not used it but i am impressed with Polaris customer care, I rang the help line for Polaris UK and the guy was in a meeting but he rang on numerous occasions while i was away from phone, to return my call, very good and friendly service, no quibble from local dealer in Herriard to get replacement parts under warranty, flasher unit and rear brake light switch .

Jagd, you could try Giffords at Staines, a bit far for after sales service but he does great prices and you could always use Steve Berry near Basingstoke for service and any warranty work .

Well there was the time that they over filled my friends quad with oil and it blew oil into the air filter which then got sucked up into the engine. They also were meant to fit a dyno jet kit to it and they ****ed that up as well the engine ran rough and he had to take it else where to get it fixed. And then there was me I asked them to get me a price on just over £1000 worth of extras and I gave up on the second phone call, and finally when they done some work on my quad they gave it back to me with a flat tyre. So that why I wont use them.

Fair comment Nige, we can only speak from experience good or bad .
