How fast does your quad go flat out, only GPS readings and the truth please :).
I think we could do this on our next ride, on a dual carriageway somewhere .
At least Danny cant get done on the motorway LOL .

My Scrambler tops (very) at 63 MPH. Would be a bit more with a LIGHTER rider and a few inexpensive mods, but id rather spend the money on the GPS and gadgets :)

I am expecting between 75 and 80mph on my Pred, it has plenty of power in the top rev range to pull lower gearing but have not had it flat out yet so dont know what it revs out at .

You do realise that fuel doping with duck oil is illegal dont you.!!! Combine that with your self contained biological jet propulsion system ;) and I can see where the 80 MPH comes from.

lol, you will soon experience my jet propulsion system ;)
I did clock my Pred at 70mph on my GPS but that was not flat out, there was a fair bit of power left at that speed, i might see if i can take a picture of the GPS reading when i am flat out soon, now i need to make a bracket to attach a camera to the petrol tank .

Dont do it !!! , you'll wrap yourself round a lamp post doing that sort of thing. Messing about with gadgets at 70 mph on a quad is not a good idea.
Just tell us, We will believe you
Actually if you want a live speed report I can lend you a gadget that will send back live location and speed reports back to my computer. Its battery powered, uses GPS and can easily fit into your pocket. It provides very detailed and accurate life log information. Part of my work stuff.

the camera is more exciting, i once attached a camera to my yam rd350lc and took a piccie, trouble was the speedo only went up to 120mph and the needle went way past that, the bike was very highly tuned so probably did a real 130mph, this was back in 1982 so that was very fast for a road bike then .
I like the idea of a picture to prove the speed, live dangerously danny .
After all, 70mph is not that fast is it, well it probably is to you LOL .
