I have just checked all over the sheep. And come to handle bars and the top stock bearing has a small amount of play in it. Is this normal?? i have never felt it while riding it. But the MOT fella might have a winge about it!!

cant it be tightend up????

It cant be tightened up as it consists of two rubber O rings with a clamp around them.
They cut into the steering column so replaces rings dont do a lot.

There is only a small amount, so hopefully it will be advisory or not noticed at all!!
