Powder Coating

Anyone recomend a powder coater in Basingstoke.

My DRZ tail rack has started to rust and looks gruesome. It also leaks rust over the black plastics so looks pants. I guess powder coating is the easiest way to stop this in future as the bolts that hold it in place have cracked the paint off and I don't want it to happen again.

Limited color choice but decent service and quality, he also has an anodizing plant as well which may be of use in the future?

I have been in contact with Vickers Metal Finishers in Basingstoke and will give them a try.

Just got the DRZ rear rack back and it looks lovely.

Price was £25 for a rear rack powder blasted in black. I shall certainly use them again. Could be handy for damaged engine casings etc.

They also do metal polishing for those with blingy Quads.

Think I will stick to getting all our stuff done for free the only problem with it is is we get it back the next day as well ! Dam I do hate good service at no cost at all ;)
