Foot pedal light switch.

Foot pedal light switch on the Scrambler has stopped working. Im having to brake with foot and hand so i show a light :-(

This may be a weak point on all Polaris bikes as I know RedPred has had a silmilar problem. Must be a warrenty job.

Anyone know if this is easy to fit or not ?I would imagine it is .

Steve has got mine in now so will get it to tomorrow .
I wonder if they get knocked by the riders feet and break or something flies up off the track and hits it, they are vulnerable .
Yours may just need adjustment Danny .
It is a warranty job although I will fix my on myself cos it a two minute plug in job, knowing the scrambler, you may have to strip the whole quad to do it LOL

Heres a pic of the culprit. Now ive played around with it a bit i've discovered that its intermittent. When it works, theres a small audible click. Most of the time it fails. it looks like a cheap part that was put on as part of the Homologation.

Probably quite easy to change but I may as well get it done under warrenty as part of a service. It was always going to be in for a service after Toms farm anyway.

It looks like mine, its probably a common standard part that they fit on all quads to get through the regs .
You dont get much top quality on anything these days as most products are built to a price .
