For those of you who follow the news, you may be aware of a piece of modern art that has recently hit the headlines in the Tate Gallery.
Basically, they have created a HUGE crack in the floor of the main exibition floor. I just had to go and see this and find out what all the fuss was about. I have to say that it is very impressive. Its a big secret as to how this crack was created, but they have stated that the design criteria was that there had to be no permement damage to the building foundations.
I think i know how they did it ;)
Incidently, i now understand the true motives and meaning behind modern art. The whole thing is one big Chick magnet. The exibition seemed to be attended by gorgous young female art students. Very nice.
Here are some pics that i took ( no pics of the art students unfortunatly ).

I think it can only have been created in one of two ways, either its;
Painted on the surface because your hand does not look like it is actually in the crack (ooooh er)
Made in an artificial raised floor on top of the existing floor

And... another no.
I do think its art though, you have to see it to appreciate it. It apparently represents divison on society. As im a typical cynical Quad biker :) my first prioruty was to work out how they had done it before i started to appreciate it as a work of art.
Honestly, if anyone is in London it's really worth going to have a look at.
