I had a quick look at doing this when I bought the Quad but soon thought against it as I was convinced I would break something.

I am going to have to do it eventually though.

Any tips for removing the front plastics which cover the engine/fuel tank and front light. Just so as I can change the spark plug. This is on a QZ 45oR

If there is nothing wrong with your plug then why go to the hassle of taking the plastics off to change something that does not need changing ?
I totally disagree with manufacturers who say you have to change the spark plugs when they are perfectly fine, the plug in my Pred was original until I sold it and I expect it still is, that engine still runs well so why change something for the sake of it ??
My Raptor is still on the original plug after over 7000 miles and I have no intention of changing it unless the quad starts running bad or something !

Fair enough.

At the end of the day its a Quad so a little bit of lee way isn't the difference between life and death.

Just cleaned the air filter after our last trek and can't believe how much mud had got under the seat. I didn't think we went through any big puddles but theres mud every where.

Good job I decided to check that.

At least you can change yours in about 2 minutes G
To do one on a QZ takes about a week lol
My kwack needs all the front plastics removing and the fuel tank but due to the design of the thing it is still only about 15/20 work which is fine but was still a pain when I was doing some fiddleing and had to do constant plug readings to get the fueling right (poxy fuel injection)

Thats exactly why I would not bother Johnny, the Pred was the same which is why I did not go down the airbox/jetting mods route, simply could not be bothered taking the plastics off every time I wanted to do a plug chop :frusty: life is too short LOL

To be honest though, since I started owning vehicles in 1978 I have never changed a spark plug due to servicing intervals, its like throwing money away, I do replace them after a lot of miles and when the engine starts running not so good !

Yeah, damned Raptors John, fancy having the hassle of an easily accessible plug LOL
