Whats the best to use, any opinions ?

I guess a lot depends on space. I was thinking of getting a trailer and putting it in the garage with the quad on it !!! that might be a right pain though. A old van might be better as i can park it in the street and lock the Quad up in it when we are away.

Special arrangment have been made for theToms farm visit ;)

i have done both ways an i prefer a van as you say quad can stay in van and be more secure when away from home and its unseen in a van
it is more expensive though with runing cost insurance tax ect ect

there's a simple solution to this, van trailer, they are as good as van without the cost and can now come fitted with alarms:cool::cool:

I have a the use of a trailer but I would prefer a van just because it's easier to reverse back down a tight track, and it should be quicker from A to B. The down side to that is that you have another vehicle to run.

I have done both, the trailer is the cheap option bit its also the slow option. Slogging along the roads at Sunday driving pace was not for me:mad:

I have a beaten up Iveco Daily with a tail lift, works a treat, I can fit my Grizz & Kymco in and the kids Ram50's. Its safe, secure, dry, somewhere to change when you get there, somewhere to hide out of the rain when eating your lunch etc etc.

The van costs more to run but it deffo works better for me.
