They look like good quality but they dont protect the whole shock from dirt and grit, i bet they are not cheap, did not see the price

They look pretty but thats about it. I would say that they would soon get damaged.

They look good to me. If they bust they bust :-) Go get em and tell us what you think.

I think NJK is right, they dont cover the shock properly and you could probably get two complete sets of flexible covers for the same money.
in my experience what damages shocks is the effect of pitting on the rod plating damaging the oil seal and losing the oil .
You need to enclose the whole shock in my view .

Could a Polaris Predator owner please send me a link to the covers you use as I need to get some for my new bike. Also, do you use on front and rear ?

RED PRED ...do you have the zip on type or Velcro ?
If velcro, any issues with those as the pople selling the zip variety seem to be saying there are issues with the velcro variety ?

I have Velcro covers and have never had an issue with them on motocross or enduro circuits.

I have them on the Grizz & the Kymco, they are both velcro closure type, never had any issues with them. The neoprene type seem to fit better than the nylon type...
