As in the title what is everyone using in the yams as mine are a little dim!

I use standard bulbs because they are good enough for daytime riding !!

I do the odd night ride, about two a year so not worth investing in better lights .

You would be better off mounting some lights on the handle bars for night rides as you can then see where you are pointing or what your about to hit lol. Did you not try the items fitted to Trigs old QZ they worked fantasticly at night and cost about a tenner

buy some of them blue coloured h6m 35w bulbs off ebay, around a tenner for a pair and give out a much whiter light.
you will notice an improvement.

Might be an idea to check your alternator output first though ??

A raptor stator aint going to handle two 55w bulbs.

You can buy a uprated stator from rickystator.com, $125 giving an extra 80w output (6.5A)
I had one in mine as my oem one snuffed it .

I might wait for a while till i do that then as i have already added Heated grips so i don't want to stress it too much!! Cheers anyhow as i will change the bulbs.
