I just realised what a bad idea it is to place memory map *.mmo overlay files on a public forum.

Why ? because MM overlays contain all your route, tracks, marks and yes usually your HOME location. So uploading these type of files onto a public website is kind of like putting your home address on. Opppppps.

I have removed all *.mmo files from the site and disabled the ability to upload these files. If you want to send someone a mmo file, do it via email or pm.

Cheers

Catman.

The memory map and road angel is a superb piece of navigational equipment, even on salisbury plain with the mass of tracks and byways it got us round the route-a top class piece of equipment .

It is still possible to post mm routes/tracks. just open it on your pc,manually draw whatever route from your chosen starting point, job done, or edit the route/track that has been draw by mm and remove the part where it goes from your home to the first track.

Ive started to use a new overlay for each new route.

its a lot easier that way. Just export your old overlay data to a file, then delete all content and start again.

Ill come round and show you how its done RP.

Memory map users ...i'm buying the software, so could you email me the routes you have ?

Do you have my email address ? If not, let me know via PM and i'll send it across.

I think if you save routes off individually as per this post, it should be fine to share the routes and actually have them on this website.

For users of Memory Map and Road Angel devices, i'm sure they would prefer to download the routes each time a ride is set and a route agreed.
