I put 2 litres of oil in my raptor 700 last thursday as the dipstick read empty. I then checked it on Sunday when the quad was cold and it was between full and empty. I then started up the engine and let it warm up, the dipstick read empty, so I put 1/2 a litre in it. I have just checked it now and it's empty. I checked for any oil leaks and I can't find any. Can anyone help me?

Have you got the Yamaha manual that comes with the quad Simon and do you know when the oil and filter was changed last, it may be a good idea to do it anyway as you dont know when it was actually done, some people selling stuff put just serviced etc but when was just ?
I think the oil capacity with a filter change is only about 1.7 litres .
You have to start the quad, run it a short while then let it cool again then check the reading .
