We really enjoyed it, we had a great sound in there, I did not wear a santa suit because I never had time to get one on saturday which was a shame .
Our gig this friday at The Rack and Manger has been cancelled due to no fault of ours which is another shame as it would have been the last one before xmas .
We will now only rehe a r s e until Jan 26th and put another 10 songs in the set, any ideas what songs ?

This is the kind of guitar playing that inspires me every time I plug in my Fender Stratocaster, the late, great Stevie Ray Vaughan, absolutely awesome musician .

Another late, great guitarist, definitely one of the greatest ever slide guitar players and also one of the hardest drinking touring musicians, the band aint bad either, Rory Gallacher .
Anyone who has seen my band will recognise certain sounds/styles in this clip .
Shall I put a Hendrix clip on here, no need as everybody knows of him .

Oh go on then, sometimes i watch this and think yeah ok its only feedback being used to effect, but then think about how primitive and unreliable the amps and equipment was and the fact that no-one had really done this before and people like Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck etc were in awe of this guy, then you can see what a class act he was .

I was thinking about giving up when I get the new motor as I wont get all the gear in it, but gigs are coming in and I cant let the others down, we cant let all that talent go to waste now can we LOL :drum::drum:;)the other band smilie has gone ? we cant deprive the punters of a bit of real live and loud rock music, they would have to put up with discos and karaoke-aaaaaghh .
£275, jesus, what did you have done mate ?, I bet it will fly now .

Thanks to those who came to the gig last night, hope you enjoyed it as much as I did, I was knackered this morning, please dont sue me for damaging your hearing lol, it was a superb sound in that hall last night and the sound on stage was incredible, thats the advantage of playing bigger venues, you can really crank up the volume without fear of the sound bouncing off nearby walls and causing feedback problems, it is a problem in smaller venues and really limits the volume you can play at, at some small venues my amp is only between volume settings 1 and 2 so not really achieving vacuum tube saturation (maximum gain before distortion ruins the sound, the amps sweet spot) .
Cheers for coming
