Still abit of work to do on it. I want to strengthen the mount a bit. Its great for the road, but when it gets bumpy it may come loose. Needs a extra safty strap attaching too.
Its attached to the back of the lighing frame arraY.

Probably not quite as big as it looks in the picture but very ample.

The key to its success is making sure the mount is strong enough. It works a treat though. Scrolls the map with you and you can zoom in close on the detail.

Just something to consider

When your using Your road angal to guide through a route, it becomes disadvantage to plot the waypoints to the side of the route. You need to be able to travel through the way point for Memory Map to guide you to the next one. If you plot it off the track and therefore dont go through it , in guidence mode it will keep trying to take you to the same poit again.

If you dont use MM in guidance mode, and just use it as a map, then it wont make any difference.

It was really good. there no way we would have kept on those byways over the plain without it. So much easier than having to follow a map all the time. Problem is that you kind of look at it almost all the time lol, but thats probably because it was a totally new area.

Gets the big Thumbs up as an essential and definative tool for trail navigation.

Used my road angel on our night ride last night and it was superb, its a fantastic piece of kit and well worth the £200 investment .

I knew the RA 7000 claimed to be waterproof to IP5 but have always been a bit cautions.

Waterproofing has now been proved, forgot to remove it during a jet wash and it got a full frontal assult at high pressure :)

Not something i would like to do routinely but at least i now know it can take the hit :-)
