Next year is only a short distance from us...

I would like to do a BIG ride out and would do it for charity.

I have done John O'Groats to Lands End before (did the crazy thing of riding all the way to John O'Groats and Lands End then back home 1955 miles :D ), I wouldn't rule out doing it again.

This is where you come into it guys and girls, I would welcome suggestions as where to ride for this trip and what charities could be sponsored.

It would be GREAT if other people wanted to join in with the ride out, EVERYONE is welcome. :) so get your thinking caps on and lets see what we can come up with for next years BIG ride out.

All this charity stuff is getting a bit boring i think, i already donate on a regular basis to charities (child sponsorship in africa and others) and sometimes do leaflet/collection round around the estate, it seems the trendy thing to do at the moment, all the other sites are doing charity rides, if you want to do it i would be more than happy to sponsor you .

The ride out could be within the UK as it would be easier to organise and that way it could involve/attract more people to join in with it.
As to charities, most people like pets/animals so the charities could be something like the RSPCA or PDSA or Blue cross.
It's all open to ideas at the moment, so come on what could I/we do???

Just a thought............ we could check up on world records to do with quad bikes, like the largest meeting/group ride of road legal quads, this way the yanks could never beat this one :D , fastest trip from John O'Groats to Lands End by quad (staying within the speed limits) ;)

Saintly carebear types, do you mind, i have just had breakfast:mad: god its like watching comic relief in this thread, `charidee` is ok but lets not go overboard with attacks of conscience ;) .
We do a christmas shoe box gift appeal every year, for those not in the know, you get an old shoe box and buy things like small toys, pens and pencils, sweets, small items of clothing like gloves and woolly hats, soap, toothpaste and brush, little things that kids like etc and send it to an agency that sends that distribute them to children in places like Africa, Romania etc. Its really good to see my kids enjoy buying the things they think other kids would like but never have .
See guys, i am not a hard faced bitter old bugger, my band will always play gigs free of charge for fund raising events etc, a couple of years ago we played a gig for the local motorcycle action group who were fund raising for a local kid with cancer, there`s an idea, do a ride with MAG, oh no, we would not be able to keep up with them

This board has no place for the truth.

We prefer to be able to call you a miserable ole bitter git.

Truthful statements will be moderated into complete fiction :) :) Dont bring your truth and evidence here. :D
