Theres lots to learn and its far better to have others to learn from than to start from scratch yourself. Trail riding on Quads requires so many skills from basic maintenance, map reading, route finding, riding techniques and even a bit of survival skills in case you get yourself into trouble. Not to mention all the legal stuff and finding out where you are allowed to ride. The Quadlaners forum is the place to start, our pages contain masses of information to help you get the most from exploring green lanes of the UK

Firstly register as a board member and introduce yourself in the "Introduce you and your Quad" section on the forum. This is how to start making connections with people in your area that have similar riding ambitions to yourself. Your bound to get a warm welcome.

Secondly check out the "Meet ups and events" section and keep your eye out for rides that are being organised near you. This is where we give all the meet up details including ability level. The very best way to learn is to get out there with the veterans ! It doesn't matter if you haven't got much (or any), experience but you will need a road legal quad.

Where to ride ?

The forums will give you lots of tips on how to find and check out your own routes. Including all the legal stuff you need to know, and loads on using GPS and mapping tools. Many members have spent years building up information on routes and great play locations. Disclosure of routes in the public sections of the board is discouraged to prevent undesirable use of our favourite places, but by making friends and joining in on rides you will soon discover loads of new place to go.

After you have been a active member for a little while, you are very likely to get invited to join the 'club members' sections of the forum (no fee). These exclusive sections of the board are only visible to those who are actively involved and provide much more route and ride information. There is also a very lively chat box which is a great way to causally chat with other club members.

We hope you have a lot of fun on the Quadlaners forum.

Ps IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE ACTIVATION EMAIL TO COMPLETE SIGN UP PROCESS PLEASE CONTACT ME 'RAPTORMAN'

As well as the quadding side of the forum, we also have occasional social meet ups at local pubs, these are a good place to start your quadding career and get into the quadding spirit/s .
Newcomers always buy the first round ;):D
