Hi All,
My name is Charlie and myself and my wife have got PGO Bugrider 250e, we have explored the local area and we cant find much in the way of new offroad trails.
I would love to find something new and a bit more challenging, it's been a lot of fun so far and we are both surprised on how much punishment these things can take.
I have been looking around and there is very little information on routes we can take or places we can go without people giving us horrible looks :(
We are based in Wokingham, does anyone know any good places we could drive down/ travel to to spend some time off the tarmac ?

You need to buy some ordnance survey maps and browse them looking for byways. It is a time consuming affair.
There is no "bible" available and routes that i know have been gathered over many many years of off roading and exploring.
you will also find that when you get to a byway it may have a traffic restriction order on it preventing usage.
you will also find that most off road user groups will not post routes up in public view to try and prevent hooligans going out for a easy ride and tearing up the byways.
the use of memory map is to follow the routes that have been previously planned rather than using memory map to find routes.
A few web sites offer route information but for a fee.

Welcome to the site, there are byways around Arborfield, Crowthorne, Swallofield areas, we did a route on byways south of reading, not very exciting but better than nothing .

Buggies are welcome - just ask 'Bugrider'

I would recommend the south reading route to you as its not really challenging so ideal for your buggy, there are a few deep fords/rivers/streams to cross though .
I have looked at the West Berkshire Council site for a definitive map showing rights of way but there is nothing of any use .
Hampshire has a good map, see link .

This is what we use, its pretty good and you can make up routes of your own, you can use it with devices like Road Angels and secret solo`s super duper phone .
