Anyone else get this email and does anyone want to go

Sunday August 9th, summer ride out - Get it in your diaries now!

There will be a day out riding on Salisbury Plains and the Green Lanes of Wiltshire. Something for everybody on this one, dust trails, green lanes, muddy tracks, forests, hills, rivers and more, even a section for the 37mph boys from Sussex!

This will be a great day out for all levels of rider, everybody is welcome from beginner (Costa) to Expert (Wellzy), if you have a road legal quad come and join us. There will be people traveling from all over the country to this event, there is plenty of space for parking cars/vans and trailers etc at the meet point.

There are plenty of fuel stops along the way and there will be a pub lunch for those that want it! Travelodge is nearby if you need to stay the night before, there are also plenty of campsites in the area.

Depending on numbers, there may also be a night ride organised for the Saturday night for those local or those that come down to stay the night before.

Come and join us and meet loads of fellow quadders!

I'm going to this. If you want to meet at Morrisons let me know. Just working out how to get there now, looks like a 160 mile round trip for me plus the ride. To get there for 9.30 I plan to leave my house at 7.30 so could be at Morrisons for 8.00.

lolz jim.. the plains ARE crap, its the surrounding areas that have some mileage in them..
It was a ride like that that me and raptorman covered 190 miles in a day, laning to the plains, across them then homewards from the other side.

:DLMFAO reading this thread, like watching two Arabs fight over a 12 year old english girl :scared:
I see no problems with any body coming here to promote quad related issues, the more the merrier for me !
Regards the banners, whether they are QuadHeaven, Quads UK or Horny girls in nude quad mud wrestling, as long as they are not dominating the page and no bigger than say the average avatar then fine !

Quite right Malcolm, the worst damage I ever did down Water Lane was to chip my nail varnish !

secret solo
13th August 2009, 07:19 PM
the worst crash on here took place on a straight section with gentle whoops.
Most carnage happens on fast sections, never on very challenging sections.

I heard he sold his quad to get a pedal car as the crash put him off so much ??
That is so true, I hit a tree stump on a straight and came off, probably a tunnel vision thing, concentrating so much on whats ahead and not paying attention to the dangers immediately in front and to the sides .
