great weekend men and to make things even better when we were on the ferry we got to see a real life air sea rescue. What happened was some bloke that had saved all his life to buy himself a sailing boat to cruise around the solent ect had jumped on board to go for a sail around the island and when he went to pull his sails in, a broken bottle went right through his foot and severed a artery and before the helicoper got him to hospital he had blead to death. Apparantly some mindless quad bikers had been useing his boat that he saved all his life for as a bit of target practice!!! its unreal isnt it now the IOW council are thinking of closeing all the lanes permentaly as to keep minless thugs that all ride quads off of there island, still im sure we will all find somewhere else to go next year hey

Some great comments guys, I wont take any credit because if you lot had not come along it would have been a crap weekend lol .
Give yourselves a `big it up:agree:
Thanks for all your laughter, excellent bunch of fellas :amen:
The highlights of the weekend was, without doubt ;
Warrior upsetting the bulgarian immigrant chef at the Pub Carvery bar, upon recieving his plate of meat he said, in a rather drunk and disorderly way;
" is that all you f***ing c*** "
Priceless, even the littles kiddies behind him who must have been 8 or 9, thought it was funny :scared:
The other big thanks goes to Warrior for the Mr Kiplings, absolutely mind blowing and his revenge on us for calling his efforts last year a load of crap, those cakes were awesome, probably best no to know what was in them other than sugar, butter and flour LOL

I would go back to the IOW but only between September and April when all the best byways are open .
What is annoying is that I researched all the routes we were to ride using the HCC definitve map for the IOW which sadly seems way out of date, I could not find mention of rectrictions, doubtless someone will come up with something I have missed LOL
Anyway, we still rode some excellent byways .

Sounds like you had a good time, and haven't seen any post about crashes or rides in ambulances.
Sore butts by day from decent rides I hope, lets hope there weren't too many sore butts by night. The general theme of most threads coupled with Grahams absinthe and close sleeping arrangements.....

This post of Johnnys made me laugh when I read it, but that incident was the downer of the weekend for me, I like a laugh and a bit of craziness but that went too far and is an issue that may deter me from organising next years trip .

Graham I think you made a bloody great job organising the trip routes ect, I myself and and the rest of the boys love to have a good laugh, and yes it is sometimes at someones expence but its all taken in jest (I hope ) but when it comes down to mindless vandelism sorry to say I am not a great fan, my sister has a boat moored on the hamble, its not a very big boat but she loves it and worked very hard to buy it. I personaly have had two seperate break ins in total have lost five motor bikes that I spent a lot of time and money on,I used to fly a lot of model helicopters but they were stolen each was worth a grand or so,(three in total) none of these things were given to me they were all bought by me with money that I earnt by getting my sorry ass out of bed every day come rain or shine, I can tell you that its the most gutting experiance to find all your toys stolen and most probably just trashed or broken up. So if I was to throw bottles at the perpertrators quad or his car or his house what sort of responce do you think I would get??? I bet it would not laughter hey, so come on men have fun,have a laugh, but leave other peoples toys alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah but at the time it was bloody funny! that what a Mr kiplings and a few beers will do to you lol
I also have a confession to make. On our return from the IOW me and Trig decided to go and have a few beers, well one thing led to another and a few more than intended were drunk ,leading to much loudness and swearing followed by a awfull lot of staggering, so between us we decided we would have to walk home to Hedge End, so while doing the one step forward two back routine we set of on our very merry way. A little way down the road we came across a nice fresh turd curled up on the pavement so I said to trig watch out theres a fresh fox turd on the path! he said no its not its a dog turd! I said its not its a fox turd ! well to prove his point Trig got down on his hands and knees and sniffed this thing and said it was definatly a dog turd ! I got down with him and also sniffed it and said no its definatly a fox turd ! so once again to prove his point Trig stuck his finger into this turd and licked it off and said, Yep your right it is a fox turd . So we carry on our merry way but we are getting nowhere as we are just so pissed, so we decide were going to break into the bus depot and nick a bus to get us home! I said I would keep watch while Trig went in and got one fired up, so off he staggererd and after about a fag later all I could here was this almighty banging,engines reving flat out and alsorts of din so I thought I best scarper, so one step forward two back I legged it off down the road. I had got about a mile down the road when all of a sudden there was a screach of tyres beside me and sure enough it was Trig, silly grin on his chops as phuuush the door slid open, I said where the bloody hell have you been Trig!! he said the *******s parked the number 93 to Hedge End right at the back of garage and he had to move all the others out of the way to get it out :****:

Well done for organising the trip Graham, and working around the seasonally restricted byways that the council didn't bother to put on their website. Thank you.
Indeed the bottle throwing was bang out of order (although well done to Gary for being the only one being a good enough shot to hit the boat!).
So glad I didn't have any of Kiplings cakes, loking at the state if everyone else.
Hashman's (Warrior) performance in the Carvery was legendary, well done you c*** !
