View Full Version : IOW booze

RED PRED

I have been looking through my drinks cabinet (hic) and have got nearly a litre of 60% proof Absynthe which I might take to the IOW, I should be going to Guernsey again soon and will see what the duty free has to offer, the last time they had 80% proof Absynthe so I might get a bottle .
We could all have a few shots before we go to the pub in the evenings, I reckon by the time we have been Absynthed, had a few pints and eaten Warriors hash cakes that we will be a crazed bunch of lunatics, bring it on :amen:
Is anyone else bringing any booze ?

Booze of choice is a bottle of Jack Daniels - thats a mans drink, so Big Jim and Graham can't have any.

You know I only drink lemonade when out, as I am a recovering alcoholic

Jack Daniels is less than 40% proof which makes it a girls drink lol

The last time we went down through West Meon to Wickham, then the motorway to pompey .
We will need to leave Basingstoke by 8.30am to get the ferry at 11am, I know it does not take 2 and a half hours but it did take 1 and a half, we need at least half hour to spare at the ferry terminal .

Trevor, when you say 'my boat', that implies ownership.

If you own it, why not go whatever time you want?

They were not worried what time we went last time Trevor, why not ring them up and see if you can change your departure time ?
