Its a date then, we will meet up next sunday to go to watch the Great 8 quad enduro race meet at Hannington between Basingstoke and Kingsclere off the A339 Basingstoke to Newbury road .
We have 4 riders interested at the moment so lets see a few more, you wont even get your quad dirty LOL .

Wish my friend Ben Luke luck if you see him. He is one of my friends who i race and ride with and also Mike Lattanzio. Just to give you an idea of what pace that will be required from you when you guys come out riding with us.

RED PRED

We ride at our own pace Nige, too old and wrinkly to race around :(, when you went out with Danny you must have thought you were going backwards LOL .
We tend to ride at a fairly relaxed pace and enjoy an occasional stop for a pint/mug of tea/fag/bacon sarnie etc .
Its a bit dodgy racing on the byways, usually come up against a horse, cyclists, walkers or motorbikes coming the other way .
Will leave the racing stuff to you guys .

Would you guys rather meet up in the morning, say 10.30 .
Let me know please .

I'm not fussed what time we meet up, 10.30 means we can't have a beer before we go, either time is good for me, just let me know what you all deceide.
Cheers.

The southern contingent can meet at my place 10am and ride on the A339 to meet Danny and any others at the junction to Hannington .
It is easy to find, I went there today, not a single bit of mud to be seen :D:(

It was a good day out, very hot and got a bit sunburnt on my forehead, loads of quads everywhere you looked .
Some of the riders looked absolutely knackered when they came in to change riders, you need to be very fit to compete in this kind of racing, we are going to organize our own endurance race competition-

The Berkshire and Hampshire Quad Trails Great 8 (minutes) .

We had a great time, it was funs and inspirational. I think it reminded some of us just how much practise we actually need !!

Pictures for this are now in the main site picture section.
