Wondered how long it would take before we started getting these `my quad is faster than yours` posts on this site .
No-one is actually interested in whose bike does 1 mph more than anothers and considering the Raptor is 200c bigger than the Polaris the difference is minimal, 0 to 60 is the same, on the road a mini metro would outrun a Raptor so who gives a toss .

:DYes mate, you are correct, your XLC does almost keep up with me-NOT I must admit though, the XLC is a great quad for what it is and in the hands of a good rider will stay with bigger quads when the going gets really twisty and the big boys cant use their power .
Just think mate, you can prove it on sunday

I Used To Have A Ltz250 And Off Road It Kept Up With Most Quads

I found that if your going to off-road doing trails and greenlanes in the uk 250-300 is usually ample.
My QZ250 would go anywhere, and quite fast. The main disadvantage with sports-type quads is usually ground clearance and the fact that they dont have 4 wheel drive.
I think we are going to see some more sport-utility hybrids coming onto the market. - Best of both worlds, (master of none) :)
QZ's are amazing bikes for the money.
Oppps Polaris thread and me talking about QZ *slaps hand* :p

At the end of the day it is down to the rider, a slow rider (Danny ;)) on a big quad will get beaten by a fast rider on a small quad :D.
All this is only relevant on a race track and does not apply to when we go green laning as it is a group activity and we ride at the speed of the slowest rider (Danny;)).LOL
Its ok belting down a byway until you meet a cyclist/landrover/quad/group of ramblers/horse etc coming the other way, safety is the most important thing .
Back to topic, my Pred did not miss a beat yesterday and performed admirably .

i would bet £1000 a mini metro would not beat my raptor !!:p

Even the smallest engined Metro will just about do 85mph flat out which is faster than probably all standard quads :o:o, not quite the same appeal though :D

The rally metro was good although obviously nothing like the road sardine tin version, the metro did have a fair amount of room, i got stuck in the back of one with a girlfriend years ago, we were making love when all of a sudden my right knee locked solid, it was agony and i could not move for three hours :mad:to make matters worse, we never finished if you know what i mean ;)

I did originally want a Raptor but the cost put me off (I wanted new) and there are a lot of suspect deals going on, I do not regret buying a Predator, it puts a smile on my boat race and the acceleration is great in the upper rev range .
I also prefer the look of the Pred, those eyes look mean .
