bulbs in the quad

Would it do any damage if i were to replace the standard 30 watt headlight bulbs with 55 watt ones?

Thought I had better check as I do not want my wiring to burn out, or the headlights to melt!!

It really depends how well it's been made and what size wires and relay were used. I may be wrong but I have doubts about whether you will want to do lots of electrical calculations and measurements of wiring so the best thing to do is to just try and see what happens. If the wires don't get hot after 10 minutes it will be fine. I changed mine from 30 to 55W bulbs just after I got it. The only thing I had to do was adjust them down slightly as the cars started flashing at me.
