Renegade Question.
Does the homogated verison have the foot brake operating both font and back circuits, leaving the left hand as a handbrake only ?
Thats what its like on the scrambler and to be honest its a pain !! The foot brake is so high that its difficult to get to it quickly and almost impossible to use if your standing. Havning managed to work out how to adjust it on the scrambler to the pedel is lower.

The foot brake is fairly high but only operates the rear brake, the lefthand operates both front and rear brakes at the same time also it's the hand brake, the 2008 model will have foot brake still the same and there will be seperate left and right brake levers for front or back braking.

Isnt having linked brakes a requirment for a Homogated or SVR'd quad ?
if thats the case the 08 Renegade could have some issues for road legal use.
No expert on this issue , just what i picked up from reading stuff.

sorry to bring this old thread out of the wood work but is there any way of converting a 07 single left lever rene to have two levers ( left rear) (right front) without costing the earth or is it better just to leave things alone??
