Code of Conduct

1. Safety is paramount.

2. Always wear a helmet. We all know that its not against the law to not wear a helmet when driving a Quad/ATV. But its very stupid  and dangerous !!!! Those of us who are experienced have seen occasions when Helmets have saved lives.

3. In a group, always drive to the abilities of the least confident rider.  There is no peer pressure here. People who ride within their own zone get respect.

4. Always ride legally.  NEVER ride where it is not legal to do so. There are plenty of places to ride off-road legally. Part of the fun is discovering them.  Some Trails may have seasonal restrictions knows as Temporary restriction Orders (TRO)  learn to read maps and respect the TRO's

5. Consider other road/trail users. Slow down or even stop to accommodate walkers/cyclist and especially Horses. Everyone has the right to enjoy the trails.

6. Don't make bad trials worse. Trails that have been severely rutted should be avoided and left to recover.

7. Always carry the kit you need to get you out of trouble.

8. Enjoy trail riding as a team.  Don't intentionally leave your fellow riders behind. Riding together is not only fun but safer.

9. Organise a route and inform friends people as to where you are going.

10 Always respect the environment

11. Ride like hell, thrash your machine as much as you can get away with and have a really good time.
