Riding the Basingstoek southwest route covering some
great byways through woods and fields.
Pace will be moderate - slow as we are expecting some new riders to join in the fun. |

Members of BHQTA had great fun on the night ride, on the trails and Greenlanes of south Basingstoke.
Unfortunatly, we never did find the Hannington Wood witch, but Red Pred did present the group with something pretty scary !!!

This will be a route starting from Combe Gibbet Carpark near Inkpen and going over greenlanes onto Salisbury plain.
Finish in Andover. 44 miles.
Times to be arranged. Please keep your eye on the forum.

The Great 8 Enduro race Hannington. Yes we were there... Racing hard *cough*,
Red Pred proved once again he was faster than anyone else... at eating a Sausage sarnie ;-)

Basingstoke south route .
A great ride along some amazing lanes. 35 miles covered. Some great Pictures in the Picture section.
Stopped off at Popem airfield for a bacon sanie and mug off tea.

Meeting at Comb Gibbet near Inkpen. - Beedon common and the Ridgeway.
Sunday the 22nd of July - Completed
Meeting at the Morrisons petrol station in Basingstoke at 10.30 am,
we ride out north of Basingstoke on byways to north of Overton and Whitchurch, some nice lanes and a couple of scramble areas for some fun,then down to Popham Airfield for a cup of tea and some food if desired, on to Dummer then byways around Ellisfield, Bentworth, Shalden, Lasham, Medstead, Alton, South Warnborough, Upton Grey, Mapledurwell and back to Basingstoke .
Saturday the 14th of July - Completed.
Group ride around the byways of North Hampshire taking in Hannington, North Oakley, Overton and Whitchurch, with an opportunity to have a bit of a scramble on the way .
A drink/snack in the Vyne pub in Hannington on the way round .
Meet Kingsclere Village by the shops at 12.00 hrs .
This ride is about 2 to 3 hours duration and would suit most quads .
Saturday 7th July 2007 - Completed.
- The ride out today was great fun as usual. A couple incidents of 'ahhh stuck on a rut... again', and even a **Thump** 'Where the hell did that come from'.
